This morning the students of the italian network Uniriot made a blockade in the street outside the italian Embassy. They protested against the so called "Operation rewind". After the 2008 cutbacks of public funds for the education, a big protest rased in all main universities of italy.

On the 19th of May 2009 the italian students movement, the "anomalouswave", protested against the G8 University summit in Turin. It was a radical demonstration of opposition to the Bologna-process to reclaim freedom and quality of education, autonomous and critic knowledge and a new welfare for students and precarious. One month later 21 students get arrested for that demostration, the operation was called "Rewind".

In these days in Italy started the process and also here in Vienna the italian students want to denounce the absurdiy and the injustice of this legal operation. The italian banner says "We were all behind that shield" affirming the common responsability for the protest.

Here in Vienna this demonstration has the support of all theBolognaburns network. As students of all Europe we reclaim our right to demostrate and to decide on our future.
