Neben Informationsbroschüren zum aktuellen Widerstand in Oaxaca und Chiapas, wurden auch einige Filme via Projektor gezeigt, die einen ungefähren Eindruck dessen liefern sollten, was sich zur Zeit in Mexiko ereignet. So wurde unter anderem der bereits bekannte Film "Romper el cerco" über die Situation in Atenco in einer etwas gekürzten Version gezeigt, aber auch Beiträge über die versuchte Stürmung auf die Universität, Polizeibrutalität und die Großdemonstration in Oaxaca wurden vorgeführt. Über 500 Flugzettel konnten an PassantInnen weitergegeben werden, die sich zumeist interessiert über die Vorkommnisse in Mexiko zeigten. Viele von ihnen (ca. 90 Personen) unterschrieben auf einem der beiden Solidaritätstransparenten, die zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt der mexikanischen Botschaft in Ö übergeben werden soll.

Bei Tee und Glühwein dauerte die Kundgebung insgesamt 3 Stunden und endete um 19 Uhr, in unseren Augen erfolgreich.

Demonstration for Oaxaca/Mexico in Salzburg/Austria

On 20. November about 20 people met in the center of Salzburg to protest against the brutal action of the mexican government in Oaxaca. We demand immediatly discontinuation of the combat operation against the mexican population and the release of all political imprisoners!

At the demonstration we showed some informative brochures, as well as some films about the current struggle via projector, which should give a certain impression of whats going on in Mexico. "Romper el cerco", a film about Atenco which has already a certain kind of awareness level, was shown at the demonstration, as well as other contributions like the failed attack to the university, police brutality and the big demonstration in Oaxaca. About 500 flyers were given to passing people, who mostly showed interest and signed one of two banners on the ground, which should be delivered to the mexican embassy in austria in the near future.

With tee and mulled wine we could warm us a little for the duration of 3 hours, when the demonstration finished at 7pm.

Salzburgo, Austria: acciòn en solidaridad con oaxaca

El 20. noviembre se reunían aproximamente 20 personas en el centro de Salzburgo para protestar contra la acción brutal del gobierno mexicano en Oaxaca. Exigen el fin inmediato de la operación del combate contra el pueblo mexicano y la liberación de todos los presos políticos.

Han repartido folletos informativos asi como películas sobre la lucha actual, que debe dar una impresión de qué está sucediendo en México. El película "romper el cerco" y otras contribuciones sobre el ataque fallado a la universidad, la brutalidad de la policía y las demostraciónes grandes en Oaxaca, fueron demostradas. Cerca 500 volantes fueron dados a los peatones, que demostraban sobre todo interés y firmaban una de dos banderas, que en breve se deben entregar a la embajada mexicana en Austria.

Con té y vino càlido se recalentaba hasta la manifestaciòn fue terminada a le 7 por la noche.
